I was recently asked to draw a series of creatures displaying various ailments for a school textbook. They had to have backache, toothache, broken leg, bad knees, fever, earache and other problems. The last one had to have a combination of many strange conditions which was a bit tricky, but I managed to squeeze them all in.

I just got this new Spanish edition of the first Flanimals book. Really nice version. Not sure how they come up with the translations of made up words. Apparently, Munty Flumple in Spanish is Lelozote. The only version of the Flanimals books I don't have is the Israeli edition. If anyone knows where I could get one please let me know.

He tries to shorten the depressing gap between birth and death
by eating till he bursts. This is a slow method and he is at risk of
having a meaningful thought before he splatters everywhere.
Death brings him the last laugh as he has no TV licence.

Cemetery Junction opens in the UK this weekend. I saw it a while ago and really enjoyed it. Here's some artwork I did last year for the movie. It's a billboard for a fictional housing development being built in the seventies. Yes, it is supposed to look that awful. I can't show the full version after the lads have put grafitti all over it, but it's very funny.

The Krampus terrorized the bad until they promised to be good. Some he spanked. Others he whipped. And some he shackled, stuffed into his large wooden basket, then hurled them into the flames of hell. I like the Krampus.

I did these sketches about five years ago for a proposed animated movie called Ollie the Otter. I have no idea whatever happened with this film and if it ever got made (I don't think so) but these were character designs for a whale, walrus, seahorse and squid.
